Growing up on a ranch in the Central Coast of California, Steve's summer memories were filled with long, hot days hauling hay, irrigating pasture and building fences. Today they are spent working with farm owners and agribusiness professionals, making certain their assets and way of life are protected from whatever harm may come their way.
Steve always knew his future would be tied to agriculture. Upon graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in agriculture, Steve married his high school sweetheart, Kelly. They made the decision to raise their family in the rural community of Capay and in 1998, Steve found his true calling as a risk advisor serving the agriculture community.
Always striving to provide his clients with the best possible service, Steve was one of the first agents in the nation to receive the AFIS, Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist designation. He continues to stay abreast of industry demands and is currently one of a select few Nationwide Elite Farm Certified agents in California. Dedicated to ongoing professional development in an ever changing industry, Steve has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Beyond Steve’s passion for insurance which he admits isn’t exciting to most, he has a wild side and enjoys paramotoring, snowmobiling and adventure travel.

Kelly graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in Communications. In her marketing /community relations role, she spends much of her time developing and sharing the Heritage brand; a brand built on rural values and ever improving the client experience. Known as the “fun roommate” in the office, Kelly takes great pleasure in maintaining the harmonious culture of the Heritage team.
Kelly’s abundant energy is at the heart of all she takes on whether it be her business responsibilities at Heritage or serving her many philanthropic committees; California Women for Agriculture, Dairyville Orchard Festival, California Nut Festival and Glenn County Fair Heritage Foundation. Kelly is a proud alumnus of the California Agricultural Leadership program and was recently honored with the Common Threads North Award for her contributions to agriculture and her local community.
An avid traveler, backpacker, adventurer and outdoor enthusiast, Kelly says, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list!”
Executive Agency Administrator, PHRca
Tiffany graduated from California State University, Chico in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and a Minor in Marketing. She quickly fast-tracked her career through a variety of agribusiness administrative positions eventually leading her to the Heritage team. Tiffany holds a Master's of Education in Agricultural Education and is an active member of the California Women for Agriculture.
Tiffany and her husband, Kasey, live in Orland with their two daughters, Adalynn and Olivia. They love the outdoors, hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Every year they look forward to their annual camping trip to Idaho where they scout for wildlife, fly fish, hike, and visit with family from across the country. Nothing beats no cell service and family!

Bailey graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in Agricultural Business. She began her career in the agricultural lending field before joining the Heritage Ag Insurance team. Growing up in an agricultural community instilled a strong work ethic and her passion for agriculture stands at the core of her commitment to her role as Farm Accounts Manager.
Bailey was born and raised in the North State and enjoys participating in various community events. She appreciates working with people in the agricultural industry and learning from their operations and experience. Recently married, Bailey and her husband enjoy being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist, AFIS
Tonya was born and raised in Durham, CA and has been involved in and surrounded by the agriculture community her whole life. She graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in the College of Business with an emphasis in Management. She joined the Heritage team in the fall of 2015, bringing many years of client service experience and outstanding organizational skills. She is a member of the North Valley Chapter of California Women for Agriculture and is an active volunteer of the California Nut Festival. Tonya and her husband, Kyle, enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends, working on the family farm, reading, sports, and relaxing on the beach.
Tonya believes "To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity."
Commercial Insurance Advisor, CLCS, CRIS
Hailing from Eureka CA, Chuck graduated from CSU Chico with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. As a creative critical thinker with an employment history steeped in customer service, his primary goal is to provide clients with accessible expertise and an honest and thoughtful problem-solving approach to the complex and potentially frustrating world of commercial insurance.
Heritage clients often share a highlight of working with Chuck is the time he devotes to demystifying their insurance policy. Chuck says, “I’ll take however long is necessary to be certain clients thoroughly understand their coverage and are equipped with information to make decisions insuring their success.
A regular guy, Chuck enjoys golf, the 49’ers and any chance he can get to cruise in his classic.
When not at his desk or in the great outdoors, he can be found spending good old-fashioned family time with his wife Jennifer and daughter Savannah. At the day’s end, Chuck enjoys nothing more than listening to his vast and varied collection of vinyl.

His deep ties in the community include: Business Networking International-Chico Founders Chapter, Secretary/Treasurer, Past President Paradise Chamber of Commerce and Past President Paradise Exchange Club. Kimball has been a long time high school and collegiate sports official and served as Past President and Assignor.
As owners of Spencer Shirey Wines and members of the Sierra Oro Farm Trail and North Sierra Wine Trail he and his wife, Mary enjoy sharing their passion for wine with others.

Raised in Davis, Nicole spent much of her childhood in her family rice fields. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Mary's of California. Nicole found that one of the most valuable lessons she learned while attending McGeorge's School of Law in Sacramento was, "The purpose of life is a life of purpose." Nicole contributes her notable skillsets and education in her many administrative roles at Heritage. As one of the newest members of the team, she brings a fresh enthusiasm for professional excellence and continued personal growth. When not pursuing her purpose at Heritage, Nicole's greatest pleasures are being outside, cooking and spending time with her family and puppy, Pippa.

As a longtime resident of the North State and CSU Chico Alumni, Karen is familiar with the insurance needs and concerns of our local community. Karen prides herself in the high level of service she provides to clients and says, “My goal is to go above and beyond in assisting our clients by putting myself in their shoes, listening to their concerns and delivering the very best options available to them.”
Karen and her husband Craig have three grown daughters whom were raised and still reside in Chico. For many years, she volunteered in her children’s classrooms and school library, was an assistant Girl Scout leader and enjoyed watching her husband coach C.A.R.D basketball. Karen has always felt lucky to have Bidwell Park as her back yard and often took her girls and their friends swimming, hiking and picnicking by the creek. She remembers she was never anxious for summer to end and still loves spending time in the park, only now with her three grandchildren.

Dan grew up on a dairy farm outside of Willows, CA where he continues to live today with his wife of 31 years, Denise. Together they have raised two children and are enjoying three grandchildren.
Dan has a long history in individual and group health benefits and has an extensive knowledge of the Affordable Care Act of 2010. While he does spend time in the office, Dan actually prefers meeting at his clients convenience helping navigate the complex world of employee benefits. Perhaps the highest compliment we have heard from one of Dan’s clients is, “He has delivered on every single service promise he has ever made.”
In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, golfing and camping.

Shay was born and raised in Dixon, CA on a farm growing row crops; corn, sunflowers and tomatoes. In 2004, the McCluskey’s moved their family ranch to Red Bluff where they started their own cow/calf operation. With agriculture running deep in her veins, Shay graduated with a degree in Agriculture Business from CSU Chico. An internship at the Shasta Livestock Auction Yard and several years working in the Butte County Farm Bureau office prepared Shay well for her role at Heritage.
Shay serves on the executive committee of the Butte Young Farmers and Ranchers and is an active member with the Tehama County Cattle Women’s Association. Shay enjoys spending time with her family and says, “The best times are always found when friends and family gather round.”

Emily was born and raised in the East Bay area but calls Chico home. Upon graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Emily realized, "It is up to you and only you to create the life you want and to live each day surrounded by that which brings you happiness." For her, that was the life she had established in the town and community of Chico. Emily soon found an interest in the insurance industry when she discovered her shared career values with the team at Heritage. She embraces her role as a client service associate which allows her to provide attentive and dedicated care to our family of clients and businesses. Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends while soaking up the beauty and outdoor recreation of Lake Almanor area.
